BARNOLDSWICK'S bumper clash with Bury AFC unfortunately fell victim to the weather on Saturday afternoon.
Barlick were expecting a healthy crowd at the Silentnight Stadium at the weekend, but after an unexpected deluge on Friday night, the game had to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Barnoldswick commented: "Heavy overnight rain has left the ground underwater in places. What a shame after all the hard work put in to make this game one to remember.
"For anyone who has already pre purchased a ticket, we can put this to the rearranged date or refund if you can’t make it once the new date is set."
The club have confirmed that the details of the rearranged fixture will be announced soon.
It is expected that Barlick's home contest with Northwich Victoria will go ahead as planned this evening.
