TWO Wharfedale Colts players recently had a day to remember.
Last Tuesday (March 14) William Beecroft and Isaac Light both played major roles in helping Harrogate Grammar School to victory in the School National Bowl final.
The pair shone brightly as Harrogate claimed a 31-20 victory over St Peter’s Gloucester at the Stone X stadium, home of Premiership side, Saracens.
Wharfedale's young duo were also instrumental in helping their school team reach the final, as Harrogate cruised to victory over St Marys Crosby - winning 33-0 in the semi-final of the competition.
