BARNOLDSWICK Town’s season is teetering towards an uninspiring ending after they fell to a consecutive league defeat on Saturday.
Andy Harrison’s side travelled to fellow strugglers Winsford United and were put to the sword in a 3-0 defeat with the home side’s strikes all coming in the second half.
After an uneventful first half, the hosts turned it on after the break and strikes from Danny Boden, Thomas Stanton and a first goal for Luke Duckworth helped to seal a well-deserved victory for Winsford.
It’s three games in a week now for Barlick as they look to wrap up their campaign with home fixtures against Bury (tonight) and Padiham (Thursday), while they travel to Avro on Saturday to round off the season.
