Professional Muay Thai Boxer Luke Turner, from the Jai Freestyle Martial Arts and Fitness Academy in Eastburn, has added another title belt to the gym.
Luke fought on the Revenge or Repeat Show, held in the Reebok Stadium at Bolton on Sunday, to win the UKMF English Pro crown.
His opponent was undefeated in ten fights and the fight was toe to toe for all five rounds but by the end all three judges gave the fight to Luke by a round, taking his record to eight wins from ten fights.
The show was one of the biggest of its kind in the country, with ITV4’s ‘The Contender’ stars Dzhabar Askerov and David Pacquette headlining it.
Head coach and manager Robin Shepherd said: “I’m so proud of Luke. He works so hard and learns from every fight – he just gets better and better!”
