Hebden rower Andy Hodge will compete for the Great Britain Rowing Team at the Rowing World Championships which start at Lake Karapiro in New Zealand on Sunday.
After a long flight out from the UK, the GB Rowing Team have now settled into their accommodation and have been training on the course at Lake Karapiro since Monday, October18.
Hodge and partner Pete Reed will be definite medal prospects in New Zealand.
However they will face stiff opposition for the gold from the Kiwi world champion pairing of Eric Murray and Hamish Bond who will be favourites when the men's pair final takes place on Saturday, November 6.
