MIDFIELDMAN Zack Dale hit a hat-trick as Town beat Charnock Richard for the first time.
Dale stunned the Hallmark Security League Premier Division's third-placed team by netting twice in the first 20 minutes.
His first goal came from a superb free kick while his second followed a fine pass from Mark Threlfall.
Charnock Richard hit back with two goals in 13 minutes by Carl Grimshaw to level before half-time.
Dale completed his hat-trick after 50 minutes.
Town doubled their lead after 64 minutes when John Beckwith crossed for Threlfall to net.
Charnock didn't give up the fight and set up a nervy finale when Walker deceived goalkeeper Jordan Gidley with a long-range free-kick.
Town had to weather a late onslaught from Charnock Richard, but they managed to keep them out with some defiant defending.
