SKIPTON Golf Club's chairman Mick Hirst recorded his third hole in one of his career in the prestigious National Golf Club Challenge tournament.
His eight-iron tee shot on the 130-yard sixth was the first ace ever recorded in the event which is played at the Trump Turnberry Ailsa course in Ayrshire.
It helped him and team-mate David Rasche to finish runners-up in the competition.
