Otley Town 0 Brighouse Old Boys 2
IT was another bad day at the office for Otley Town, who are fast squandering the excellent start they made to the new West Yorkshire League Premier Division season.
Once again missing several key players, Otley failed to call the Brighouse goalkeeper into serious action throughout the whole game, as their play lacked any cohesion.
The away side were only too pleased to capitalise, and scored a goal mid-way through each half to run out comfortable winners.
Town will hope to welcome back the absentees quickly, particularly top scorer Toby Harris.
The next match is the West Riding County Cup on October 3, by a quirk of the fixture list once again versus Brighouse Old Boys (2pm).
