Craven Herald: Victoria Wilkinson produced an impressive fifth-placed finish in final race in this year’s World Mountain Running Series at Limone in Italy.
The 36-year-old from Hebden clocked 2:55:18 to record her best performance of the series and it elevated her from 13th to seventh position overall.
The English and British Fell champion had to tackle 2,100m of ascent on the gruelling 24k course against top athletes from America and Europe.
