After four postponements due to the weather, the long-awaited fourth-round West Riding County FA Challenge Cup tie between Keighley rivals Steeton and West Yorkshire League side Oxenhope Recreation finally went ahead at Summerhill Lane.
Andy Holden, Andy King and Lee Reilly were on target for the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division hosts, who won 3-0 in a game that should have been played last month.
Steeton, who lost Damian Whiteoak with a broken leg and Jamie Longley with a medial ligament injury, now have a home quarter-final against Brighouse Town Reserves next Saturday.
Steeton manager Roy Mason said: “Thankfully the area where we have the most strength in depth is central midfield.”
Ovenden West Riding made sure of their semi-final place when first-half strikes from Jordan Coduri (2), Robbie Graham, John Booth and Carlton Pownall gave them a 5-0 home victory over Silsden Reserves.
Bay Athletic, at home to Field, was again a victim of the weather and they will try again next Saturday.
Should Bay’s ground be unfit, an all-weather pitch has been provisionally booked for the tie.
Only four games were played in the West Riding County Amateur League as few grounds had recovered sufficiently from waterlogging.
In the Premier Division, Salts and Huddersfield YMCA cancelled each other with a goalless draw, while Kirkburton, with a first-half goal from Ryan Jagger, beat Storthes Hall 1-0 and secured a semi-final place in the Premier Division Cup.
Dudley Hill Rangers, who lead the way in Division Two, edged nearer to gaining promotion after drawing 1-1 at home to third-placed DRAM Community.
After a goalless first half, Joe Carter gave the Huddersfield side the lead before Daniel Softley scored to secure Rangers a point and a step nearer to regaining their place back in Division One after two seasons.
In the only other game played, Littletown Reserves beat Ovenden West Riding Reserves 2-1.
Tingley Athletic have withdrawn their reserve side from the league, and their record has been expunged from the league table.
