LUSCOMBE Joan (nee Brooke) Beloved daughter of Valerie and the late Harold Brooke and big sister to Susan and devoted wife of Mark. Originally from Eldwick, formerly of Strathmore Farm Baildon and latterly of Malham, aged 58. Died peacefully at home on October 31 and laid to rest quietly on the Farm a few days later, following a monumental battle against Breast Cancer. To mark Joan's passing, an informal gathering of friends will take place on Friday, November 17 at Oakwood Hall, Lady Lane, Bingley BD16 4AW and everyone is welcome to attend at any time between 3.30pm and 7.30.pm. A eulogy will be read at 4.30pm. Donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated if desired for HODU Airedale Hospital or West Yorkshire M S Therapy Centre.
