Bowls green is like a ‘mini public park’ Sir – I am astounded to again read of our councillors attempts to reclaim the Craven Bowling Club and turn the bowling green into an extension of the car park!

Sir – By now we will all have received a letter from CDC advising us that we will shortly have to pay for the fortnightly removal of garden waste and “to cover the period from 1st July 2013 you will be asked to pay a charge of £24 per bin to cover collections until March 2015. This works out at roughly £1 per collection…”
