READ Mick Hazel and Susan would like to thank everyone for their kind words and overwhelming support from which they continue to draw comfort and strength following their dad’s expected, yet sad passing. Particular thanks to Ken and Jeremy, Andy, Jean, Michael, Michaela, Nelly, Jane and Stephen. Anne, Chrissy and all at Dales Community Care, Grassington. All the staff at The Dales Nursing Home Draughton and to all the staff at Airedale General Hospital and Leeds Teaching Hospitals, especially Prof. Short and her team. Thanks to the Red Lion for a fitting venue for all to gather and recollect. Grateful thanks to Su at Brook Smith for her kindness and support and to Fiona Jenkins for an inspiring service, Yorkshire Brain Tumour Research and Support and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance will benefit from everyone’s generous donations.
