THE reigning UK Young Butcher of the Year will be showing off his skills tomorrow when Country Harvest at Ingleton hosts its latest foodie event.
Twenty-three year old George Taylor has put together a menu of barbecue goodies for Summer Lovin', a special tasting evening featuring 10 "tasting plates".
As well as burgers, sausages, grillsticks, and drumsticks, the kitchen team at Country Harvest will also be serving up various summer puddings to refresh everyone's palates after the protein feast.
"Our 12 Plates of Christmas event last year went down so well with everyone at the end of last year that we thought we'd organise a summer version," said Richard Simmonds, foodhall manager.
Guests will also sample various beers, ciders and fruit-based drinks and they will be given tasting notes to guide them through the menu.
Tickets are priced at £20.
