ANDREW Leach, of Saltburn by Sea, was triumphant at Gisburn Auction Marts' May show of breeding and store pigs.
His pen of seven Pietrain cross gilts, won the best pen of store pigs class and sold for £70 a head to Cock of the North Poultry Ltd, of Mexborough.
Peter Woof, of Stainton, Kendal, sold a pair of Pietrain gilts at £124 each to John Stephenson, of Bordley.
Trade for prime pigs was strong with David Pawson, of Blackburn, achieving £122 for his Pietrain gilts when they were taken home by G Dawson, of Otley.
