The Gallery on the Green at Settle is offering people the chance to escape from the bleak midwinter and head to a tropical paradise The gallery, housed in a former phone box in Upper Settle, is staging Treasure Island at Christmas.
Created by Jeanne Carr, Veronica Allsop and Julie Sobczak, the exhibition features an installation creating buried treasure on a tropical island. There is some edible treasure that visitors can take and, in return, they are invited to leave a Christmas card or other offering.
