Saxophone and piano jazz duo Ian Millar and Dominic Spencer will perform at Gisburn’s Festival Hall.
The pair have been performing together for a number of years, playing melodic improvisations on jazz standards and original compositions.
Based in Edinburgh, the duo has regularly toured Scotland, but their new venture, Jazz in the Village, will take them to villages all over Britain.
“We have been very successful at transforming the village halls into an intimate cabaret-style jazz club setting with low lighting and candles on the tables,” said Dominic.
Ian added: “Our experience of playing in halls has been amazing. We have experienced a warm and friendly atmosphere where the audiences know each other, creating truly inspirational settings for some wonderful evenings.”
They will perform at Gisburn on Friday, August 9, at 8pm and admission is £8, which includes a pie and peas supper.
