A vibrant young choir from south-east London will perform at the next Bolton Priory concert.
The Bexley Phoenix Choir aims to perform a wide range of music, from early sacred and secular works, through the classical and romantic periods to folk, gospel and popular songs.
“Its concerts always include some individual or small group performances, but it is the choir’s ability to embrace and envelope their audience while making the rafters ring that guarantees a truly unforgettable evening that only a live performance can bring,” said a choir spokesman.
The singers will perform at Bolton Abbey Priory Church on Saturday, August 17, and the programme includes Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium, Handel’s Zadok the Priest, Whitacre’s A Seal Lullaby and Davidson’s A Yorkshire Pudding.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets costing £10 will be available on the door, from the Church Office or call 01756 752704.
Children under 16 will be admitted free.
