A former Glusburn pantomime performer has been honoured by a star from TV’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Fiona Spencer, who has appeared in many local theatrical shows, has been studying with the Royal Ballet School to become a dance teacher.
She recently attended her graduation in London, where she was presented with her teaching certificate by Royal Ballet member Darcy Bussell.
Fiona said Darcy, who is a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, was an inspiration during her time with the Royal Ballet.
“Darcy was an ambassador and patron for the Academy and offered us guidance as we trained,” she added.
