THE well-respected Vacation Chamber Orchestra will return to Craven next weekend.
It will perform Music for a September Afternoon at the Friends Meeting House, Airton.
The programme will include settings by Edward Kipling of Kipling's Just So Songs, a musical version of the Grimm Brothers' fairytale The Musicians of Bremen and other chamber pieces.
The orchestra is made up of talented young musicians, who have been visiting the Yorkshire Dales from all over the UK and Europe, taking part in a week of professional tutoring.
Among those performing will be the Alauda String Quartet, the Bilancia Wind Quartet, double bass player Alastair McMath, soprano Josephine Organ-Jennings and baritone Thomas Cameron.
The concert will take place next Saturday, September 13 at 2.30pm and tickets costing £10 are available from 01756 753965 or 01729 830263.
Booking is advised as last year's concert sold out.
