THE Stage Door Theatre Company will be in action in Barnoldswick over the next few days.
It will stage Richard Harris' comedy play, Stepping Out, at St Joseph’s Church Hall tomorrow, Friday and Saturday, starting at 7.30pm
The story follows the lives of the members of an amateur tap class and is a wonderfully endearing tale of how determination, friendship and camaraderie can shape even the most bashful into proud performers.
"The real fun is watching how their relationships develop and how they interact together," said director Mike McKeown. "We are so grateful to Helen Cheung for helping us to live the Encore Dance Studio’s motto – live, laugh, dance! We’ve certainly laughed our way through learning our routines."
The cast includes Claire Tetlow Parkinson, Anne Parkinson Allan, Katie Allan, Gillian Beeley, Rachael Cox, Peter Hook, Pauline, Bev McKeown, and Donna Salt. The pianist is Janet Philbrook Parkinson.
Tickets cost £6 on the door.
