Singer, songwriter and guitarist Tom Figgins will return to his old school for an acoustic night next Saturday, February 25.
He will perform at Giggleswick School’s Richard Whiteley Theatre as part of a triple bill of singer-songwriters.
Tom (pictured) now has a successful career in London and, as well as gigs and radio appearances, has an upcoming music video with SBTV.
He is described as a guitarist of skill and subtlety, a songwriter of depth and imagination and a voice that makes you sit up and listen.
Also on stage will be Sam Beeton, whose first single, What You Look For, was record of the week for Radio One’s Jo Whiley and Scott Mills. He has toured widely, supporting James Morrison and the Script, and is about to join Charlie Simpson’s Young Pilgrim tour.
The third performer is Pip Mountjoy, a 17-year-old singer-songwriter from Richmond, who is part of the BBC Introducing programme.
The gig starts at 7.30pm. For tickets, visit giggleswick. org.uk/rwt or ring (01729) 893180.
