Award-winning jazz singer Liane Carroll
Award-winning jazz singer Liane Carroll will be heading to Wigglesworth next month – with her grand piano.
London-born Liane, who started playing the piano at the age of three, has won numerous awards, including the 2008 Parliamentary Jazz Award for Musician of the Year.
She has been hailed as one of the country’s finest jazz singers and her gigs are described as some of the most exciting and entertaining on the UK jazz circuit.
Local jazz enthusiasts will be able to see for themselves when she gives a concert in Wigglesworth Community Centre on Saturday, March 3.
The centre will be turned into a jazz bar for the event and tickets, priced at £8, are available from (01729) 840794 or 840620.
