Junior members of Settle Amateur Operatic Society will be treading the boards in the spring.
The youngsters are busy rehearsing Bugsy Malone, which will be staged at the town’s Victoria Hall on Saturday, April 5.
“The society wanted to give the younger members a chance to shine and the main SAOS production often doesn’t have parts for them, so musical director Pam Riley and producer Pat Harding decided to put on a special show for them,” said society chairman John Reid.
“Other members of the society are getting involved to share the various back stage tasks and publicity so this production gives everyone a chance to be part of something exciting and rewarding.”
