SETTLE Stories has been helping groups 'find their voice' with the help of Wallace and Gromit animator Virpi Kettu.

After being approached by Settle Resource Centre for Adults with Learning Disabilities to help tell it story, Settle Stories looked at what it could do.

It decided animation would be a good way forward, and managed to get Wallace and Gromit animator, Virpi, on board.

Sessions have now taken place with the resource centre and Settle Youth Club, as well as schools.

Over the last few months, they have all been learning to tell their story - and the results will be shared at a gala night tomorrow (August 5) at Settle Victoria Hall.

Sita Brand, Settle Stories Director said:

"This project been a fantastic opportunity for many local people to share their stories. The films are wildly surprising and innovative and are a great way to learn about the fantastic creativity in our community." To book a free place, book online at settlestories.org.uk/gala
