Father Christmas took time out of his busy schedule to nab a quick trout at Kilnsey Park.

Santa was preparing for the Christmas real ale festival which will be held in the shadow of Kilnsey Crag on Saturday.

Running from 6pm, the event has been organised by the Cragfest team and will take place at Kilnsey Park.

It will feature live music from Gavin Redshaw, otherwise known as BluesBeaten Redshaw. Gavin picked up his first guitar aged 11 and after a year of lessons he was already experimenting with unusual instruments, like the one string Diddley Bow.

Admission to the Kilnsey event is free, with donations invited for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The Christmas theme will continue on Sunday when visitors to the park will be able to see real reindeers, Donner and Dancer, and take part in a Christmas trail, ending with a meeting with Santa.

The park will be illuminated and there will be horse drawn rides, crafts and festive food.
