St Andrew’s: On Sunday, there will be a service of Holy Communion at 8.15am and 10am. At 4pm, the Fellowship of Churches presents its open-air Christmas pageant in Sutton Park. Next Sunday, December 16, at 2.30pm there will be a Messy Church event with an Advent/Christmas theme. On Sunday, December 23, there will be a candelit Christmas carol service at 4pm.
Farnhill Methodists: Farnhill Methodist Church holds its Christmas coffee morning on Saturday, from 10am to 11 30am. There will be the usual stalls and a tombola, and coffee and mince pie will be 60p. Father Christmas will be arriving at 10.15am with presents for the children. The Village Pump – the over-50s group – will meet in the lower hall at Farnhill Methodist Church on Wednesday, from 2pm to 3.30pm.
