Nativity procession: As part of the Dickensian Festival, the children of Grassington are invited to take part in a nativity procession each Saturday. Meet at the Rectory on Hebden Road where dressing-up clothes are provided. The procession will walk around the village to be turned away from the inns and will gather in the marquee in the square for carol singing at around 4.15pm.
WAGS group: The WAGS group, based at the Congregational Church in Garrs Lane, shared a lunch in November during which Vicki and Katie, from Rackhams, demonstrated items from the Elizabeth Arden range. This was followed by a demonstration on how to create table decorations and door wreaths by Julia Metcalfe, from The Flower Loft. Today (Thursday), members will enjoy a Christmas dinner at Grassington House Hotel.
