A fundraising party at an Italian restaurant raised more than £700 for a Barnoldswick toddler.
The event, which took place at the town’s Mario’s Ristorante, raised £730 for Oliver Rushton, who suffers from spastic displegia.Oliver’s parents, Helen and Adam Rushton, have been raising money for the youngster to have a surgical procedure, called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy, which could cost around £25,000.
Local councillor Jennifer Purcell, who organised the fundraiser, said: “A grand total of £730 was raised and this was down to Mario and his excellent staff and all the people who came to support it.”
