A senior Airedale Hospital manager who is leaving the foundation trust this month has been thanked for her hard work and dedication.
Director of operations Christine Miles has been at Airedale for three years and now plans to enjoy a year out from work commitments.
Foundation trust chairman Colin Millar said she had been a “natural” director of operations.
“Only a tidal wave of emergency admissions has robbed Christine of a 100 per cent record,” he added.
“Whenever there’s a problem in the hospital you don’t have to ask ‘where’s Christine?’, because she’ll be there sorting it out.
“She never seems to switch off and she has always been available and accessible. The whole board really appreciates what she has done.”
Ms Miles’s replacement is Stacey Hunter, who is joining Airedale from Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
