Athletic events such as long jump and throws have been proving popular at Settle Primary School.
The children have enjoyed the purer athletic disciplines this summer as the school’s range of sports has expanded following the reorganisation of education in North Craven.
The youngsters held an athletics day to celebrate their new skills.
Headteacher Richard Wright said: “The athletics day was a great success - helped by the weather! The children have enjoyed trying various running disciplines, jumps and throws.”
