Skipton Children’s Centre is hosting a Playday celebration on Saturday.
Playday is the national day for play, with hundreds of events organised across the UK.
As well as a celebration of children’s right to play, Playday is a campaign that highlights the importance of play in children’s lives.
Skipton Children’s Centre’s Playday will run from 10am to 1pm at Greatwood Family Room, next to Greatwood Primary School in Pinhaw Road. It will be a family fun day aimed at families with children up to eight years old.
It will include lots of physical activities including a bouncy castle, treasure trails, toddler and baby zone and sports activities and games provided by Fisical sports coaching company.
It is free and there is no need to book.
