Sunday teas: The institute teas this Sunday will raise funds to support the upkeep of the institute.
Village Show: The Village Show will be opened next Saturday, August 17, at 1pm by Mark Charnock, who plays Marlon Dingle in Emmerdale. Schedules are available at St John the Evangelist’s and online at langcliffevillage.co.uk The show is an open event and entries are welcome from anywhere. The only category that is restricted to village entries is the door hanging.
Yorkshire Day: More than 50 people enjoyed the 15th Langcliffe Village Yorkshire Day celebration, held around the village tree on August 1.
Whist drive: The next whist drive in the institute is tomorrow (Friday).
