Community centre: The whist and dominoes winners from Saturday were: dominoes – G Berry, A Fox, J Sagar, K Nowell, A Lowe, M Berry; whist – P Parrot, O Holgate, H Pickard, M Davies, S Hogg and B Peet. The next session will be on Saturday, August 31. Zumba takes place each Thursday at 7.30pm and bacon butty mornings are held on Saturdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The village show will be on September 14 and local group The Moonbeams will perform on September 21.
