A solicitors’ firm with an office in Skipton has been named Legal Aid Law Firm of The Year.
Makin Dixon, which has an office is Newmarket Street and specialises in family law, scooped the prize in the Legal Aid Practitioners Group awards. Lisa Rothwell, head of the Skipton office, and Skipton-based trainee solicitor Sophie Fox attended the awards at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London.
Lisa said: “It was an honour to be named on the shortlist and we are all thrilled to be announced as winners.”
