Police are appealing for information
Police are seeking information about the theft of a number of Yorkshire stone top stones from walls in the Cross Hills area.
Thieves struck in Boundary Avenue at a number of houses and in one address each in North Road and Bent Lane, said investigating officer PC James Dykes.
“They would have needed a vehicle of some kind, at the least a Ford Transit,” he said.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in those streets overnight Monday/ Tuesday should telephone 101 and ask for him.
