Food bank: Carleton Post Office is a drop-off point for contributions for the Skipton Food Bank, run by Skipton Baptist Church. The collection box is emptied each week and items are taken into Skipton by Filao and Tony Wilson. Please continue to donate non-perishable goods to help families in need. A list of suggested items can be found on the noticeboards around the village and in the window of the Post Office, which is open from Monday to Thursday. The food bank website skiptonfoodbank.org lists current needs and is updated weekly. There is also a collection box for contributions in St Mary’s Church (open for Coffee Pot on Friday afternoons and for the morning service on Sundays during the school holiday period).
