Tea dances: The weekly tea dances resume in the village hall at 1.45pm today (Thursday).
Ramblers: Sutton Ramblers meet at 11.30am on Saturday at West Witton for the Burning of the Bartle and a pub meal. Call 01535 637055 for more details. The ramblers will also meet at Herriot’s in Skipton at 6pm on Tuesday for a Stirton circular.
Women’s Institute: Sutton WI enjoyed an entertaining illustrated talk by John Leaver about the Cottingley Fairies and aspects of photography. An outing is planned to Wensleydale Creamery next month. Winners of the competition were Audrey Wilson, Pam Booth and Margaret Walker.
