A revived ancient idea in healthy eating is to be unveiled at an all day workshop in Skipton next Sunday, November 17.

The Living Food workshop will aim to show people the many benefits of eating enzyme-rich uncooked foods.

It has been organised by diet and nutrition experts Deborah Norfolk and Dawn Kucharsai and those taking part will be invited to help prepare food and eat it.

The pair, both from Skipton, say they have discovered that conventional cooking could increase feelings of stress, weight gain and general unease.

“By incorporating living foods alongside their everyday diet, people soon discover the health benefits and they can happen within days,” said Dawn.

A typical meal can involve chilli and rice and white chocolate cheesecake.

The workshop, at the Swadford Centre, Swadford Street, from 11am to 3pm, will cost £40 per person. To book a place, telephone 07514 091617 or 07851 702298.
