Pensioners from across West Craven turned out to MP Andrew Stephenson’s pensioners’ advice fair.
More than 160 people braved the wet to be at Barnoldswick Civic Hall.
The Pendle MP said: “I lost count of the number of people who told me it had been really useful.
“Many learnt about services they didn’t know existed and were given advice by the specialists they could immediately act upon.”
Most people also took advantage of free blood pressure checks and quite a few enjoyed hand and foot massages from Inside Spa staff.
Among those attending were trading standards, the Pensions Service, Housing Pendle, police and fire and rescue.
“I wanted to make sure I could bring all the key organisations together in one place on one day for the people of West Craven,” said Mr Stephenson.
