Bolton Abbey’s mince pie bazaar will return later this month.
It is held annually to raise money for various charities and this year will take place in the village hall on Saturday, November 30, from noon to 3pm.
Charities are invited to take a table in return for a donation of a dozen home-made buns, mince pies or a cake, which are then sold with refreshments to pay for the hall.
All the money taken at the table goes to benefit the stallholder’s chosen charity. There will around 20 different charities taking part and there are still a few tables left. To book one, ring Margaret Cody on 01756 710587.
The Women’s Institute will supply soup, sandwiches, tea and cake during the day.
