It was time to raise a glass at Threshfield Court as staff and residents celebrated the home’s 25th birthday.

The building used to be the Wilson Arms Hotel, but became a nursing and residential care home in 1988.

Since then, Threshfield Court has built up excellent reputations within its local communities and regularly holds events and activities for its residents and surrounding neighbours.

General manager Tony Lyon said: “We had a lovely afternoon of birthday celebrations. It is just great to provide care in surroundings with such a rich history. The people who live here live in a warm and welcoming environment but often they and their family and friends have such memories and links to the building going back years.”
