Skipton’s medieval High Corn Mill has been listed as a place of interest after a rigorous assessment by national tourism body Visit England.
Owner Andrew Mear said: “Visit England boasts an incredible reputation for shaping the customer experience at visitor attractions across the country.
“The mill has been restored to enhance the enjoyment of visitors. The Historical Innovation Zone demonstrates the workings of the waterwheel that generates enough energy to power 20 homes.
“We hope this recognition will encourage yet more people to take a look.”
Built in 1310, the mill now houses a number of retail and business tenants and features a 15Kw crossflow water turbine.
