The managers of a Silsden pub are looking forward to welcoming back familiar faces when they reopen from 6pm tonight following a major refurbishment.
The Robin Hood, in Kirkgate, has benefited from a joint investment of £170,000 by new leaseholders Darren and Sue Robinson and owners Punch Taverns.
During the three-week closure the pub was redecorated and a catering kitchen was added to strengthen the food side of the business.
The relaunched pub will feature two additional guest cask ales and a larger range of lagers and ciders.
Mr Robinson said: “It looks fantastic. We really like how the pub has been given a fresher look and feel without losing the cosy surroundings.”
Punch Taverns’ partnership development manager, Ian Lester, said: “We essentially want to reposition the Robin Hood as one of the leading pubs to provide great ales and entertainment for residents in and around Silsden.”
