Skipton District Oddfellows have presented a cheque for £1,242.45 to the Skipton branch of Parkinson’s UK.
Social and events co-ordinator Rebecca Procter said: “The national conference of the Manchester Unity Friendly Society of Oddfellows, in May, voted to contribute £126,000, over three years, towards research into Parkinson’s Disease.
"It seemed fitting that the Skipton Oddfellows should complement this by raising money for the local branch of the society. We are delighted with the results of our efforts.”
