Film night: Austwick Parish Hall Council will present Martin Sixsmith’s Philomena (12A), starring Judi Dench and Steve Coogan, tomorrow at 7.30pm. Admission is £5 on the door or £4.50 for advance tickets from Cross Leigh Stores. Themed refreshments will be available.
Coffee morning: There will be a coffee morning, with a raffle, by kind permission of David and Sue Dewhirst at Wood View on Saturday from 10.30am to noon. Admission is £2, with all proceeds in aid of the church.
Church services: Sunday’s services are morning prayer at Austwick at 9.30am and Holy Communion at Clapham at 11am, Keasden at 2pm and Austwick at 6.30pm.
Arts and Tarts: On Saturday in the parish hall, there will be an exhibition of craft work produced by members of Austwick WI, together with demonstrations of craft techniques. Arts and Tarts will be open from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and admission is £1.50 which includes tea, coffee and a tart.
