Inter-village quiz: The semi-finals took place in the Red Lion on Friday. In the first match, Hebden beat Skyreholme 225-190, Skyreholme making a great recovery having been 75 points down. In the second, Burnsall led throughout and beat Appletreewick 175-150. The final takes place at the Red Lion tomorrow at 8pm.
Crockery available: Burnsall Village Hall has crockery items which are surplus to requirement, including plates, mugs and bowls. If any individuals or organisations would like any of this crockery, contact Brenda Williams on 01756 720335. A small donation would be appreciated.
Hall concert: On Saturday, February 22, the duo howdenjones returns to the village hall with more songs and anecdotes. There will be a bar and the doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 for adults and are free for children under 16. Call 01756 720335 or 01756 720680.
