St Peter’s: Preacher at the 10.30am Holy Communion service on Sunday will be the Rev Ruth Jackson, of Nelson, who will lead a service of Holy Communion. The church council will meet in the vestry on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
Churches Together: On Tuesday, Mount Zion will host a planning meeting for Lent Tuesdays at 7.30pm. The annual general meeting of Churches Together is next Thursday, February 13, at 6.30pm at the New Road Centre. There will be a meal followed by a talk from Maria Donizetti, of Threshfield.
Earby Gardeners: John Holroyd will give a talk, More Journeys, to Earby Gardeners on Tuesday at 7.30pm in the New Road Community Centre.
Camera Club: Earby and District Camera Club will meet at the New Road Community Centre on Tuesday at 7pm. There will be a still life competition where members can enter three colour prints and/or three black and white prints (no digital entries this time). Entry is £2, including refreshments.
