Skipton Soroptimist president Valerie Ludlam chose Martin House Children’s Hospice as her charity for her year in office. And she has just handed a cheque for £1,230 to Alison Wragg, the charity’s community fundraiser for North and East Yorkshire.

The money will be used to care for poorly children and support their families.
