Coffee morning: A coffee morning will held on Saturday between 10am and noon in the village hall. The community library will make its monthly 100 draw during the morning and all of the proceeds from the coffee, tea, toasted teacakes and homemade cakes will go towards the running costs of the village hall.
St Andrew’s Church: On Sunday, there will be a BCP Holy Communion at 8am followed by Sung Eucharist at 10.30am. On Wednesday – Ash Wednesday – there will be a Communion at 7pm, followed by a Lent course “taster” session.
Parish council: The next meeting will be on Monday from 7.15pm in the village hall annex.
Indoor bowls: There will no session on Tuesday because the Rotary Club is holding an event in the village hall. Play will be back to normal from 2pm on Thursday.
Society meeting: The Craven Fuchsia and Geranium Society will hold its first meeting of 2014 on Wednesday from 7pm in the village hall annex.
